End-of-year deals 2026 in Belgium: the calendar
In Belgium, the deals season runs from Singles' Day (Wednesday November 11, 2026) to the end of the winter sales (Sunday January 31, 2027). Black Friday falls on Friday November 27, just before the pre-sales waiting period that starts on December 2.

Black Friday and the waiting period
In Belgium, during the month before the sales, retailers may not announce price reductions on clothing, shoes and leather goods. In 2026 this waiting period starts on Wednesday December 2: Black Friday (27 November) and Cyber Monday (30 November) fall just before it. The rule remains in force, but the Council of State weakened its application in May 2026.
For every price reduction, in Belgium as in France and Luxembourg, the crossed-out price must be the lowest price charged in the 30 days before the promotion (EU ‘Omnibus’ rule). It is the best way to spot a fake deal.
